Motor timing for a turnigy 4082 1500 kv?

    Motor timing for a turnigy 4082 1500 kv?

    I need to know what to set the timing to on this motor.

    They say that's a Y wind motor, 11-15 to start.
    Modified Jae21, Stock Jae21, Cheetah, Ul-1, Shock Wave 26 V2 (Rescue Boat).

        "Y" wind prefers higher timing , as said, 11-15 to start, I personally time my "Y" motor at 15*
        "D" wind prefers lower timing, around 2* is a good threshold.
        When you look at motors from the web such as here @ OSE, most od the time you will see the spec for windings :

        for instance: Leopard 4082, 2200kv is a "Y" motor, where as the 2000kv is a "D" motor.
        Too many boats, not enough time...
