    TP Motor question

Are the screws holding the rear end bell ( plate) recessed on the TP4040?

Tim, I have a recently acquired TP Power 4060 - the shaft end is bolted on the front of the case - the bolts aren't on the circumference of the can. The rear, wire end has recessed screws on the circumference which , while recessed, could use a little finish filing to prevent catching o-rings but easily done. Same for a TP Power 2935 I just put in another boat.

TP Power 4060 rear endbell recessed screws (with optional thumb-mount):

Tony, thank you very much for the reply. My main concern was for the rear motor ring to mount properly for the Popeye hydro , the Leopard 4074 that I took out from another boat has screws on the circumference of the can thus preventing it to mount properly without drilling new holes on the rails of those TFL mount.
I was also tempted to try a TP motor in the mean time.
