leopard 4082-1600kv brushless in runner

hi

i would like to know has leopard discontinued this motor for boats leopard 4082-1600kv brushless in runner and replaced it with the 4082-B-1600kv motor , i cannot find any of the sealed motors which are the 4082-1600kv. the only ones i can find are the "new" 4082-B-1600kv motors which have opening on the front by the shaft and the back , would this be ok to put 2 of these in a boat.

i know this is to allow airflow thru the motor to cool it and would i still require a water cooling sleeve for the motor

The ones with the slotted end caps are better in boats than the sealed end caps as the let more heat out of the motor. You must still use a cooling sleeve as well.

the HK ones are great, I cannot tell the difference between it and a leopard
