castle 17171y 1580 kv vs 15 series motors

I have a 1717 that i want to put into a thundertiger outlaw 40 inch vee hull and was wondering if a 15 series would be better both on
5-6s lipo also have a 4092 leo 2080kv so what do you think will be the beast all around setup using a swordfish 200 amp esc

1717 on 6s would be best the 15 series would work but may work harder and making more heat, the leo 4092 would be better than the 15 if it were a lower kv motor 2080 is to high 5s at max but better 4s motor, take advantage of the big torque of the 1717 u will need bigger props for the boat anyway

Out of those choices I would use the 1717. The BEST motot would be a lower kv, larger can motor on HV.

It depends on the prop and your speed goals. I think 5s would suit you better though.
