Try a search, I seem to remember a thread about a year ago where somebody went through a bearing replacement with lots of good pictures. He did a few motors at the same time and showed the differences in rotors and winds as well.
I can't remember who posted it but I'm almost positive it was on this forum.
I remember the discussion about the different bearings that came in Leopard vs the other Leopard style motors. If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?Comment

What is plastic on yours and where did you buy the new bearing from ?
Have a link for the bearing ?
The end plates are metal on mine and most others motor,
You can tap them out or use a drill press to remove them to, And install them with it to.
If you go to YouTube or scorpions website there is a video of how he installs new bearings.
One trick is,
Once you have the old ones out,
Put the empty end plates in the over at 170F and the bearings in a baggy in the freezer.
It takes longer to cool the bearings than to heat Aluminum,
The big difference in temp makes it much easier to install the bearings and sometimes you don't need a drill press,
Always press new bearing in by the outer casing.
