    Leopard recommended motor temps from manufacturer/ importer

    We recommend that the temp of the running motor is not over 80℃.It is better.

      The rotors begin to de-magnetize at some point beyond 200, it is generally accepted in the car world that below 200 is safe, operating temps of 180 are not uncommon in cars, I would imagine this would go with boats as well........
      Once a rotor de-magnetizes a bit, it creates a runaway situation, creating more heat, causing more de-magnetization, creating even more heat, and so on, until it fails completely.

        it is not only about of demagnetized magnets. it is also about epoxy, that hold carbon or kevlar bandage in one piece. We all know, what does heat do with epoxy. And you can very precisly extrapolate, how long will stay magnet on rotor without stiff bandage. Haha. :-)
