I'm new to fe boating and was wondering if 540 motor put out more rpms then a 550 motor like the titan 12t?

It all depends on the turns of wire on the armature, the 540, 550 is physical motor size. A 6T motor will have a higher rpm/volt that a 12T motor of the same size.
What are you building?If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

I have a rio ep and i'd like to get a faster brushed motor then the titan 12t I have now. I'm running an XL-5 ESC and was wondering if a 15t 540 would be faster then the 12t 550

He is using 7.2 nimh and just got a 8.4 5000mah pack,
Not sure what make the cells are.
