What is a good motor size for an MM18?

For a spirited sport runner, I think a Leopard 4074 would be a nice match. You could make anywhere from a 1800 to 2000 kv version work with a Turnigy 180 speed controller depending on what prop you want to use. i would also go two 4S packs in parallel (4s2p). It will run circles around the .18 version.

Depending on your experience a UL-1 motor and 180 esc would work too. If you need more speed you could move up to a larger motor after.

I tried the UL-1 motor in mine, but it was just a bit too much. The 1800 Kv motor worked better - just as fast with less heat and amp draw. But my MM is the full-weight version, the light weigh versions may work great with the 2030 motor.

I was thinking of suggesting 1800kv motor also. She works real nice on the 30 inch Revolt.
