    brushless motor for BBY V

    hey all just to many motors and kv's and i have no idea were to go ...i have a BBY ovalmaster 28 in ?what brushless motor size and kv and prop would be a good starting point for 12 to 14 nimh cell power.been using ss1 motor for the past 5 years,i want more speed = fun,also any input on the motor #s ie 3036 i have no idea, also esc power 80 120 ? thanks

    I have a UL-1 motor, a Seaking 90 and run a X442 prop in mine. It runs well and doesn't get hot but I would go with a Seaking 120 or 180 if I didn't already have the 90.
    Those would let you get more aggressive with props

        This is mine and yes that is a second place trophy from last weeks finals!
        UL-1 motor and esc Grim 42x55 prop and it well, got me second
        and it was running stupid wet because I did not scruff the bottom after the new paint job last week..
        temps were 96* motor and 92* on the esc, and had 43% left in the the packs after every heat
        before the paint job, my motor never saw 92* and esc would get to about 88* with 52% left in the packs

            thanks i really like the ul1 set up and congrats on 2nd, nice boat too ,,,this set up is the one im now keeping my eye on hope to get some funds during this winter to finish this project thanks again for the pic
