    Tacon vs. Leopard

Just curious who has tried the Tacons compared to the Leopards in boats. Are they worth double the cost? I know the Leopard is 4 pole but is it that much better?

Please only post if you have done a comparison run with similar motors i.e. the same KV and size.

You wont get any replies by making rules on a public question and answer forum, especially such specific ones.

LBP Tacons are 4 poles too............... The "B" means 4 poles. http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m802-4074-2150kv.html

Yes correct Make-a-Wake being polite costs nothing. That being said yes i have run a Tacon up against a similar sized Leopard 4074 and the Leopard eats it for power and temps, which surprised me as i was led to believe they were the same thing.

try searching. Asked way to many times.

They looks the same, but they are different. I would venture to guess (and I assume) there are other differences we cant see- like quality of magnets used.
