Motor recommedations please

I have my Traxxas Villain that I restored and am thinking about new motors for it. If I was to go brushless what should I be in the market for ? This boat uses two motors and has a 2:1 gear reduction. Right now it is running 19T brushed motors. I would like to run it on 3 or 4s. And using Octura X-447's.

Going to BL motors will likely shred your gears and/or the outdrives....they are not made for much more than factory power. IMO if you want BL power, strip out the factory drives and install a "conventional" surface-drive direct single-motor setup.

ya, I'm thinking you're right on that. Guess I'll pick up a new set of brushed motors, maybe just the stock titans.
