    What to use N2 motor

Hope to run 2S motor on 2S2P(12Ah) for 15 mins !
    15-20" mono ~35mph for multi racing .. 15 min lap count around a W shape of ~200'..

What motors would anyone with N2 experience suggest ?

    cheers

I would look at a Castle 1410 3800kV motor. With a reasonable prop you should be able to achieve the speed and run time you are looking for. It also uses standard 36mm cooling jackets making it easy to cool. I run this motor in a 36" crackerbox with a X638 prop for fun and get 18minutes of run time on 10Ah.
In N2 mono 6-lap racing the Neu 1515 0.5Y 4400kV motor is popular, but you are not gonig to get 15 minutes out of that set-up.

The 1410 is a good option ... good value to. The 1509 1Y is a another solid motor. I had one of those in an N2 offshore setup and it was tireless. If the hull is that small you will have trouble fitting them in the boat with the rest of the gear. In europe they run the 1100 series Neus in endurance hydro races I believe. A 1112 1Y would seem to work well ... likely it wont have to work hard to run mid 30s for a long time.

Avoid the 28 series Leopards ... fast, but not efficient enough for 15 mins.

If that's a D wind Leopard and I think it is, probably not what you want. The motor is big to ... if the hull is only 15 to 20" ... you'll have a very tough time getting it, your batteries, esc, etc. into the rig.

I have a 2860 2D 5050Kv in my Micro Drifter (18.5") and its a tight fit with all the gear. A mono is gonna have more room, but that still a huge motor for a boat that small.

I would really argue the Neu 1100 series is what you want with a Y wind around 3000-3500 Kv.
