Problems with Leopard 4082 and Turnigy 180A ESC

    Hi
I bought me a new Leopard 4082 engine that I have mounted in my genesis.
I am running with Turnigy 180A ESC and 6 cell battery.
When I run the boat goes full speed a few meters then turn it down to about half speed.
What can the reason for this be?
ESC or the motor is not hot.
I have programmed ESC to have the timing at 15 degrees and 6 cell battery.
    Hope someone can help me

You said 6 cell battery...what dos this mean? 6 cell nimh, 6 cell lipo, how many packs are you running at the same time?

Sounds like a low voltage cutoff issue to me. If you set it to 6 cell setting and running 6 cell nimh thats your prob.

Whats your low voltage cutoff set?4.3v?...if so, try to lower it to 3.2v...don't set it to no protection otherwise your lipo get puffy for sure
