Whats the KV of the leo motor? 6S might not be necessary. I've seen 34-37 inch outboard tunnels pushing tall 50s with 4s2p, 1515 1 y's(2200kv), and 1521 1.5d's
(1900kv). These were reliable, heat racing boats conservatively propped.

Where are you at in Fl. ?

hye guys...its a 32 inch prather racing tunnel. i would like to be in the high 40 to mid 50s. the motor i was looking at was a leopard 1500kv. i was told from another site that that motor on 6s in that hull would be alot of fun. but figured i would ask you guys.

          thanks...mike

Hey Maverick, I'm not familiar with the leopard motors myself but alot of people are doing well with them. If you have already purchased the 1500 kv motor and batteries then go for it (1p configuration). There is more than enough power to acheave the speeds your looking for. Try a octura 642 prop to start. If the boat is set up well you will be impressed.

Steveo, I'm in the Jacksonville-Orange Park area
