    guys

If I use two of these motors in my twin drifter M 36", 12s 5000mah, 2x 80HV seaking and 2x 40mm props. Is my setup ok or too overkill?

I have a 700-68 that i've run in a 29" sprint cat and it ran great, they match pretty close to Neu spec wise.

If I remember the Neu jackets fit. Also I'm not sure where you are but here's where I bought mine http://shop.turbofanelectrics.com/pr...?productId=251 they include shipping and that motor is $139 shippedhere. The 700-83 is equivalent to Neu 1518

Well if I look at this chart the 1518 is the same length as 1521 but I'm not sure about diameter. Here is the cooler for 1521 http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=ham-neu1521

I just saw someone selling the 1518 @ swapshop, its similiar to leopard 4082, so it seem that I can use the leopard waterjacket

                  This one http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ad.php?t=21991 ?
Now that's the Castle 1518 not the Neu so the sizes are different. The Castles are finned and the one you're looking at it's smooth.

No I don't know. Again make sure which 1518 you're looking at because there is a Castle/Neu 1518 an a Neu 1518 and the are physically different sizes. Here's the company that makes coolers, contact them and see if they can help. http://www.hrc-mfg.com/

That is not a good setup at all. The motor Kv is far too high for 12S and you will pull far too many amps. For 12S you will want a Kv between 600 and 700.
