    Timing Turnigy Typhoon Outrunner

Just wondering what i should set the timing at on the Turnigy Typhoon 500 (1800kv) outrunner? Right now it's set at 15 degrees motor ran fine but after about 3 minutes of running time it was around 155f and i wasn't sure if thats to hot for an out runner.

    thanks

I run 20+ degrees timing on my Typhoon 500 in my BJ26 on 4S with an x642. Temps are less than 110F every run.

What setup are you running....do you have watercooling?

Hi thanks i will try bumping up the timing on the turnigy 120 it can go up to 18.75 or 22.50 degrees so I can try both to see.
Yes I have a water cooled mount its in a 30" balsawood cat running a prather 220prop.
