I have heard that some peeps are running a mamba monster esc in their boats,firstly I have run this esc in cars and It would seem that it would get hottttt in a sealed hull even with a fan on it,and the finned motors are hard to get water jackets for as well correct? mine has been treated with corrosionx and its water resistant but should I just grab a turnigy 180a instead and do I need a pistix with the turnigy esc as well?

OSE sells water jackets for the finned cc/nec motors , they work well & dont leak at all ...cant comment on the ESCs , i would go for the T 180a thats water cooled...UL1- 1515 castle/neu / 240 swordfish

I used the MMM and 6s Lipo power in my Phil Thomas SS21 with the Nue 1515 1.5y (1500kv) and the larger 540 9L (1400kv). ESC never gave me a problem. Fan would be running after I brought hull in after a run.Comment
