    leopard vs neu???

maybe i should not be mentioning them in the same sentence but what would you rather have to push a big mono lets say a 37 to 45 inches..leopard 5692 1340kv or 1527 1y 1250kv....i am talking strictly performance and not money here..the leopard appears to have more peak watts but i am partial to the neus after running them in all my boats..maybe i am a little worried about going a little cheaper on these leopards...mmmm i don't know totally stuck in limbo...oh yeah the motots would be run on 6s or 7s lipo

    happy boating

I think the answer is to open up both of those puppies and see what is inside as far as quality, does anybody have pictures? I think I know the answer based on price...could be wrong though.. 37-45" is pushing the envelope on 6 and 7S and those motor choices

yeah the whole price thing worries me with the addage of getting what you pay for..however i really cannot knock the leopard until i try it...btw if you look on ebay or kershaw designs they have the leopard at 169.99 now..its a huge beast of a thing...it just seems too good to be true if it miraculously performs as good as neus..but it may be worth a try

The guy only has 5 of them. They will all be gone by Saturday unless you jump on them now.

cooling would be a problem at first..i think i would go with the silicone water jackets temporarily until something else comes out

What about using just regular coil wrapped around the motor?
                  Like in the brushed motors?
My friend uses it on his 1527 and refuses to go to anything else, he has his water jacket just sitting there.....

                      better price here: http://www.rc-fans88.com/details.asp?prodid=2183
I've bought stuff from them before, shipped out of chine, so have to wait a bit but it gets to the destination :)

$40 less before shipping is nothing to sneeze about. Shipping is $20(air)-$26(ems) so maybe end difference is not that much.

Did you also order cooling jackets?
Kinda bad if you get motors then have to wait 2 more month for the jackets to arrive.
