Hello, I have had a SK180V3 but for a very short time... How many of you like the new V3 models better than previous editions? Are you using the built in BEC? Are you happy with temps?

I have 3 SK180 v3 on 3 different boats. I am happy with them and happy with temps. But I do not race. just sport running.. On the Stock Pursuit, I run 6S and the temps on my motor and ESC have not gone over 115F on a hot Texas summer day. Lately the temp has been in the 60's and the motor after a 4 minute full throttle run has been in the 88 range at its highest. Most of the time they are not hot at all to the touch. I use a laser temp gun to measure for what its worth (don't know how accurate). Using built in BEC. On my Genesis, again stock setup with SSS motor running 4S, on a full throttle run the motor and ESC are in the same temp range as the Pursuit.. -
everything Ive been seeing, and experiencing with the 120V3 I've been very happy with mine.Comment
