Seaking 180A ESC water fittings

I posted a video the other day of my pursuit running alongside my Uncle's boat and I found out once I got to the dock my battery had shifted slightly during the run and pinched the waterline coming out of the ESC. Currently I like the direction the ESC is facing as it has the wires in just the right place to keep them from tangeling and making a mess. This means the water in and out on the ESC is right where the batteries sit. I'd like to find 90* fittings to install somehow and allow more room for my batteries. Firstly, where can I get the fittings and secondly how do I get the old one's out of the ESC?

If its the t180 that I'm thinking of you could use one of these!. I'm hoping to have prototype done by next week and production models the following week.

Looks like a very promising project NorCal, but it's a total water jacket replacement right? That may be easier in the end I must say but I'll have to see what it looks like when you done and If I can get the stock jacket off. I've already modded my T180 so that it uses the entire cooling plate including the space in between where the two water lines go in. Mine looks similar to the first post on this thread:

But I left one fitting on the top right and one on the bottom left.

Yes my design replaces it totally. Adding more surface area for heat transfer as well as higher flow with larger inlet/outlet nipples. And it aligns the inlet/outlet to the wires so it makes the esc narrower.

Well, if you have something available I'd love to get ahold of one. Any idea on pricing? Or how to remove the stock heatsink?

Not sure price wise yet but won't be too expensive.
I believe the stock heatsink just unscrews and lifts off.

That's convenient! Does anyone know what the threads are on the stock water fittings?

Not sure on stock. Probably 5mm. I'm gonna do 10/32 for higher flow.

The stock water fitting threads are indeed 5mm that are also glued, after removing the heat sink use some heat to break the bond & undo the water fittings. The four screws that hold the heat sink in place are quite tight even they only thread into plastic so use a good fitting screw driver other wise you can mess up the heads of the screws if the screw driver point slips in the screw.

I just noticed a few minutes ago on Post 21 of the T180 cooling upgrade thread that propperchopper said he used 10/32 for the 90 degree fittings, how close is that to 5mm?

I'll screw in the 10-32 into the 5mm threads. It basically mates fairly well but I always VERY CAREFULLY coat the 10-32 threads with JB Quick using the tip of a tiny jeweler's screwdriver being careful not to get the JB in the water passages.
