Just removing the red( postive wire) from the RX plug(ESC) and supply an external power source to ur reciever.
Most probaly, ur internal BEC is disfunctional. And set your Lipo cut off to non but monitor your run time
There should be no need for him to remove the red wire, YET. WE, do not know his boats, and radio specs, how much experience he has, if he knows how to *properly* remove the red wire, if he is inserting the plugs correctly, if he even has an RX battery,
if he has the instructions. Always advise someone as if they were a complete noob, unless you know otherwise.
Take your time OP answers will be forthcoming.
connect the wire from your esc to the top right connector on the programmer with your black negative wire being the first one on the left
Plug in the power to the esc and wait for a few seconds. The programmer should light up and then follow the instructions on your programmer
Sure thing, Darrin when you have those 'gray' areas as he pointed out competent enough you can then perform whatever remedy that discussed in here. I agree with runzwithsizorz he is just being concerned. the advice i gave is because the similar issue has occur to me twice before on turnigy 180 and SK180 . it did work at least to me.
Thanks battlefury you are the winner. You were right the bec has A problem, I put in an external one and it works fine.
Thanks again for all your help Darrin.
