    Turnigy Motor/ Seaking 120 Timing

I put a Turnigy 3650-2300kv motor and a Seaking 120 esc in my sons SV27. Boat ran great 49 mph and handled good but the motor was pretty hot about 170 degrees when done. ESC and batteries where about 100 degrees. Prop was a x442. Had the esc timing at 15. And the cooling system seems to be workong ok. Peak amps were 125 and average amps were 40-50.
Wondering what the esc timing should be for this motor? Probably also try a smaller prop next time too. Thanks.

go with a smaller prop first and check temps then.

Yep, just a tad too much prop...........you got good exit flow? Try an x440
