    SeaKing 180 and P Mono

I normally dont push my setups hard because we dont race much, so I'm looking to gauge whether or not I can use seaking 180 with a p mono setup.

Boat is a delta pirate knockoff with a 4082 2200kv motor.

Steven, I use my 180 with a Neu 1527 1D on 4s and 6s. I finally burnt it up on 6s and a saw set up so 4s is no problem. I think these are strong contollers for the money.

      Steven, Hi !!

      I run the Seaking 180 on my Insane 34" P-Mono setup with a Neu 1521 1.5D
(1900KV) spinning a 450/3 mildly tweaked by Mr. Sholund. The boat weighs 9.5 lbs rtr. After @ 2.5 min the motor is barely warm, the T180 is maybe 120 deg & the Etti cap board is @ 130. Mark F has run the same setup before with a 1527 on 4S with no probs with the SC (other than setting the LVC to "NO LVC" and cell count to autodetect) I have no hands-on with the 4082, but the T180 has proven rather nice on 4S- I even use the built-in bec.

        I run the 180 in my DF33 P-mono. I use a 1521 1.5D and a CMDI 5083 x3blade prop.

Sheyaaa! it hauls. The prop is really high compared to other P-mono's.

The caps get hot and I'm going to add more before I take her out again.

My temps are similar to above post by PropChopper.,

I run a T180 in my 39" DF knockoff(Vader) with a 1717 on 6s with an x447...........no problems. Had to prop down from x450 as weather warmed up.

Thanks for all the info guys. I added some caps like you did Scoota. It seems the easiest and cleanest way to do it.
