    swordfish 300 lite

    i know the 300 lite doesnt have bec. is it still a good idea to remove red lead from receiver plug in?

      guess I'm just nervous about leaving it on as I have never used a esc with built in bec. uneccesary paranoia.

        You have to leave it, it supplies voltage to esc from receiver.

          are you sure? On my seaking 180, I went with external bec and pulled the red lead out of the receiver plug. in that case, how did the esc get power in that setup? you got me wondering now.
