    Swordfish 200a esc Programing

    So I Have a swordfish 200a esc 8cell. it shows in the listing that it is programmable by Transmitter. My Manual has nothing on it! just by card or usb. can you program this esc by Transmitter? If so where can I get the info? went to the hifei web site, No Luck same info I have. as always thanks in advance for your help. Henry Gonna be a long weekend with no Boat!!!

      On the small CD that came with the ESC are all the directions.

          Thanks, There are no directions to program by Transmitter! Only card or usb Stick. I didn't get either one because listing said it could be programed by Transmitter. Took a chance and ran it last night, Real FAST for a couple seconds, then it shuts Down. I pulled the SK 180 out of my Genesis. I can run it while I'm waiting on a way to program the sword fish.               the esc is supposed to auto detect the cell count, but it does not. the low voltage cutoff is shutting it down. i recommend the lcd programmer. the usb stick is a pain to use.

                  That's what I needed, I was going to get the usb! Now I know. I have the lcd programmer for my SK 180, but it programs with the Transmitter No problem. this one won't Thanks, Henry

                      i had the same problem. the program card will work but there are more options with the lcd programer. make sure your water cooling has good flow.

                          I have a 240A HV. Couldn't get the program box or USB linker to work. I worked with someone from Hifei, they sent me another program to use to upgrade the firmware on the ESC. Once I did that both the program box and USB linker worked OK.                               Thanks Guys, I guess I will go with The Box and USB linker. That way if I need to upgrade the Firmware. I will be Ready. I already loaded the software to my Laptop. Had the boat out yesterday w/SK 180a Leo 4082 1600Kv 2x3 5000Mah 50c it ran 50MPH. about the Same as Stock. But still running the Stock Prop 1.6x40.6, I Think I have a lot of Headroom for Larger Prop. Everything ran cool! I can run it this way till I get the Swordfish ready, Then finish setup and start playing with Props. Henry
