Did you install the software? If you didn't it has to run on any drive but the C:/ drive... Auto timing is what I use. and set it for 8s....No Brake, No reverse, Linear throttle. What else would you like to know.

IMO you might want to start with a smaller prop. It should work but maybe sneak up to it.

                parameter setting

LVC = auto/5.0v/2cells/7.2v/8.4v/3cells/4cells...all the way to 20cells. (obviously 8cells lol)

BRAKE TYPES = NO BRAKE/SOFT BRAKE/HARD BRAKE (currently on soft brake)

CUTOFF TYPE = SOFT CUTOFF/HARD CUTOFF

                PWM RATE = 8KHZ/12KHZ/16KHZ (currenly at 8KHZ)

CUTOFF VOLTAGE/CELL = (I havent set this cretiria yet. my options are 2.5v to 3.3v)

                TIMING ADVANCE = LOW/MIDDLE/AUTO/ 0 DEGREES TO 30 DEGREES

                START UP TYPE = SOFT/STANDARD/FAST

THROTLLE RANGE = (IT DOESNT LET ME SELECT THIS ALTHOUGH IT SAYS FADED "520" NUMBER ON IT)

guys help me out here. thanks

Change to No Brake. Throttle will be proportional. Also set the startup to Soft.

Soft cutoff. Cutoff voltage you can set to 3.2v but if you experience the controller limiting throttle during acceleration you may have to lower this value and time your runs. Timing, I like to set at around 2° for D wind.

Can anybody explain to me how this "auto timing" works? I've always been reluctant to use it, what does it base the automatic setting on?
