Swordfish 200 amp + esc ?

Hi all im in the process of setting up the Swordfish 200 amp + esc for my 4s 32'' mono.Should i be using the bec function or disconecting the red wire and use a 6v reciever battery instead to power the reciever? Regards Andris Golts.

I have several SF200's and the BEC's work fine. That said cutting the red wire on a short servo extension wire for the esc and a hard battery makes sure there are no reception or servo glitches. Your call either way.

Cutting the red wire stops you from doing any programming changes. It's quite easy just to pull the wire out of the harness
