    Swordfish PC Programming Help

Anyone had trouble installing the software for the Swordfish esc programming.
    1. I can't get it to link to a com port.
    2. If I find a com port that seems to be connected to esc I get a "Timed out error message" and can't get version when I try to upgrade firmware or do anything?

can Anyone tell what I'm doing wrong or how to fix?

I run vista on my laptop, I had to log in as admin at first to get access the com ports with the software, I changed the permissions so a normal user could access everything, for some reason for me when it was installed as admin it never gave proper permission for anybody else to access the hardware even though you could start the program.
    No idea why.
It's under the properties when you right click on the program icon (not the shortcut on the desktop). Give users full permission.
Try it logged in as admin first to make sure this is the problem.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

It looks like all users have full permission, my laptop shows it linked to com port 9 (com9) I don't have a com port 9?

Actually I did not notice a color match-up but I thought I might have it wrong and tried both ways. I do get a red light on usb and Green light on esc so I assume that is the correct way but I'll double check when I get home.

Mine is at 600. Just wondered what this number means and we are able to change it in the PC programing. I see nothing in manual about what it should be so it just bugs me!
