    Swordfish 240 with Castle BEC

    I just wired a Castle BEC to my Sword 240. The instruction card from Castle says to remove the red wire from the esc to the throttle. The picture they show has the red wire as one on the outside. The Sword has a Brown and Orange Wire outside and the red is in the middle. Which one do I pull? LOL It sounds like I am defusing a bomb.

    it should be the red in the middle, the outside two are the PWM and main ground, the inside would be the positive unless SF wires them differently.

        Broun=Negative
        Red=Positive
        Orange=Signal
        Pull the red one on the middle
        Use a needle

            There's no need to remove the red wire on the 240hv, it doesn't have a built in BEC.

              NO

              The reason to remove the red wire is so an external bec(castle) does not damage an internal bec.
              The SF240HV has no internal bec.
              In fact, the SF240HV will not work with the red wire removed... as it uses this to power the controller.
