SWORDFISH 200A Died?

Hi,

Last weekend I was going to the lake and let my hydro to run. With the second Lipo (5S 500mAh) it's stopped one the lake. It was a lite water under the shrink tube . I take the shrink off and let it dry. Today I tried to test the ESC at home.

No signal no led-> receiver and servo works fine.
Deplug external BEC, test with ESC internal BEC -> receiver and servo works
Deplug motor, connect with usb programmer-> communication ok. settings ok.
Back to recever-> No function on the ESC.

Does I have to buy a new one? Any ideas?

Sadly slight water to the esc is one of the downfalls of the swordfish. If you link my youtube there is video on waterproofing them. I gotta feeling she's toast, but maybe someone else has a trick on getting them to respond. Sorry.

Lots of spray on electrical tape for the next one you buy...many times I have had at least a cup of water in my FE-30 (thanks to a great fitting hatch) but the waterproofing continues to hold up...fingers crossed!

I understud the text "This unit is water resistant." different.
I will buy some new one and I will prepare it. ;-))
