        Also, is it possible to run 6s with this esc if I run a bec or receiver pack or is it totally different than the non bec version?

            Patience lad ...you can not run 6S with the BEC wire attached.

              I know that much, what i'm inquiring about is, if I remove the red wire from the rx harness and ran an external bec or receiver pack, would it handle 6s?

                no it will not...and it cant be modified either..its a 24volt esc 6s will
