    I run a Raider 150 in a H&M Intruder S with a TP 4060 1650kv with a prather 230 and no problem what so ever and stays cool(on 6s)

Update to this thread; After reading dome key points of this thread. I made two changes to the settings to a new 150 amp esc and so far its working perfect and the boat runs well. The changes were backing off the throttle punch ( Motor start ) to level 3, Less of a instant start up power and timing dropped to 0 from 3.75 degrees.

Seems to me. The higher start up power (punch of the line motor start) and timing was possibility a over current on esc when the motor first started to rotate. I know already 150a esc and the 4082 2000kv, 6s is already pushing the limits of the 150 amp esc running the fine line of Catastrophic failure. figuring the watts/amps/ volts to the system. Then i add into this pot of pushing the system harder to get every Oz of power out of it. Hahaha So Poof. learning the hard way i will say and now i have a better understanding of the limits.

Hello all, I had some bad luck with that 150 also, I just wanted the ESC upgrade in my V2, so researching esc I ordered the OSE rider 150, it came in fast but since I am painting the hall never installed in the boat, I changed the bullet connectors on the motor and just to check things as I had also got the program box I set forward and reverse timing to 0 lipo so and forth, hooked up a 4s 120c to check the rotation to my surprise nothing happened motor would not start, this is the Arrma 1900kv that came with the boat, so I thought I programmed wrongly I hooked up the box and none of the programs was there, re did it and went for it nothing again, the fifth time it started the motor but in very slow moving and could not get the full power, changed to 3.75 timming and nothing again, sent an email to OSE and got a reply, I have to Add that I had tested my RX by having my servo to STR to make sure I am getting signall and all was good, the reply said to attach my motor to STR and servo to Thr to make sure the signal is there, I did and as I connected the battery proof went the ESC and magic smoke motor went crazy high RPM I disconnected immediately, it burnt my RX and the ESC the connectors was in correct ordered, (I do know how the orientation of wires to Rx are done), I have an Rx on order $50 esc on its way back to be checked...Motor works normal with the 120 ers that came standard in the boat.
