    Reverse engineering schulze 40.160 (old) driver board.

    I posted this on the german forum, but I think some of the sharp gents here would appreciate the efforts.


    Main note, all schematics, BOM, eagle board files, and firmware will be posted here as I get them complete. This will not be a fast thread. Between racing, and my other ventures I work on this.

    The atmega8 MCU is under a strong acid bath to expose the die, once its unmasked, I will cover the EEPROM and Flash data areas with shoe polish, then flip the lock bits using a UV light. we will be a long way from having the actual source code, but a functioning backup of the MCU is plenty for us to reproduce useable driver boards, so we can keep some great old controllers alive.
