Just bought a new Aquastar 200amp esc to power my Genesis 900 Cat. But i cant setup the damn thing. Read somewhere that it needs a firmware upgrade to make it run. But i cant connect i to my laptop. I’ve got a usb linker from a Flier esc but that does not work. I also heard about someone using swordfish software?? The default setting does not seem to be right either. Plus theres a thin red wire on the esc that i cant find a place for.
Got it hooked up the boat today and the motor only goes to about 25% rpms and then starts to rumble and turns off. After letting go of the throttle i can start up the motor again and i does the same thing. Reverse is not there allthough it should be in the default setup. Please help
