    Heat sinks for ESCs

I own a M41. Has anyone found and used heat sinks on the ESC. If so, what material and how did you attach it?

I would have to see a picture of the ESC to get an idea of how to attach. Aluminum is the material and you may need heat sink compound.

yeah, I figured out a solution. A small fan on an aluminum bracket, a couple of screws and washers attached to the chassis directed at the ESC. Seems to work. Thanks Gearhead...

They are, but the capacitors were getting hot. So the fan helps keep them cooler. The boat got too hot and stopped dead in the water one run, had to wait for it cool down. It hasn't happened since the fan install. Cheap fix...
