Did anyone end up trying one of these?

As above I have tried one. It works well enough, but I won't be buying another. If you want a mid range ESC and use a pistol radio it is a reasonable alternative to a Swordfish, Hobbywing, or Flyer, but personally that whole mid range does nothing for me, I would much rather either spend 1/3-1/4 as much for something nearly as good, or spend twice as much for something with much better features and ease of use.
