    Motor running backwards HELP

I'm using a Futaba 4PK turnigy, 180 marine ESC, a 4S lipo, and an Aquacraft motor I have switched the motor wires all types of ways and tried to follow the turnigy instruction for setting throtle parameters but no matter what I do it is still running backwards. it is for a boat and I have a standard Octura 440 prop . Any ideas ? I'm sure it has something to do with the initial setup of the ESC.

Did you switch the radio channel 2 to reverse?

Only switched two of the motor wires and left the third alone? Just want to make sure you haven't been rewiring it in reverse each time.
Have you tried a different motor? Different ESC on that motor? Just trying to find the real culprit.

The solution should be simple. As suggested, switching two of the three wires on motor will change the AQ motor’s direction. The ESC doesn’t know how the motor is wired, leave its direction alone for now. Why none of this is working is puzzling.

Found out I kept trying to do the initial set up according to the instructions and just needed to plug it up with finger off the throttle and let it beep then hit the throttle. works fine now. Thanks for the suggestions.

Well that’s still backwards to the standard throttle range calibration procedure, but as long as it works for you! I think Fluid is right, the transmitter is on reverse some how....
