    New ESC Advise

Thru a stupid user trick I smoked some of the components in my Zelos 36. We're pretty sure the ESCs are toast. Motors are a question mark but for the moment I am assuming they are OK.

So I have to replace the 2 ESCs. The OOB parts are Dynamite 120A BL Marine ESC 2-6S . Assuming I can still use the motors is there any point in getting a different pair of ESCs? I see OSE has an ESC that looks to be the same rating.

Pretty much as long as it does the job and appeals to you price wise it is likely good for your application.
Which one are you looking at? Swordfish, HobbyKing, or the Raider(my choice)?

ok, I give up. What does OOB stand for? I understand the context and it means something similar to OEM.

I'm assuming if the original was 120A then that is what I need to replace with?

If you go with the OSE "Raider" ESC, that is a 150 rated ESC (Never hurts to have more headroom on the ESC)

Raider 150's have my vote also. Great ESC for the money and as stated more headroom never hurts !

Thanks everyone - just so I don't rock the boat too much right away I am going to replace ESCs with the same Dynamite units. I am also going to pick up a pair of OSE Raider 150s as backup (I hate having to wait for replacements).
