    Esc sizzling???

My esc makes a sizzling noise when plugged in to any battery. I know I'm pushing it on the current set up but I'm wondering if this is an indicator of impending failure.

    Set up is a BJ 24 with a leopard 3650 2750 kv with a BJ 29 prop and seaking 120a. Running 5s 45c batteries

That esc is probably not long for this world turning nearly 51000 rpm unloaded, also the bj29 prop is a large prop for that motor running at those revs.

I would guess at blown caps, are they distorted or dirty looking at all?

No that I noticed. Still works well. No diminished performance.
