I think this ESC would be a good replacement for the Aquacraft 60amp P Limited... Nice to have a little more head room and adjustability, so I ordered one and did a conversion. I also ordered a water proofing product called NEVER WET by Rustoleum, two part spray on system. I'm putting this in my revolt with the stock 1800kv motor and a dinogy 6000mah 4s 65c m445 prop for some testing. Hoping this will perform well as my ultimate goal here is putting these in a couple outriggers with the 2030kv motor and pushing them hard... Andy Brown 1450 hard

These are great controllers, small and powerful, reliable, but tricky to program if never done one before. I like they have freewheeling features as most esc don't and its a good principle. Hope it runs good for you. What did you use to attach the heatsink to the fets?

Problem is that Rustoleum Never Wet says in the description: "Not intended to be applied to electronic devices or clothing."

You might want to read up on that never wet, it will leave a chalky white substance that flakes off.

Right, I read that too. I know of Corrosion-X but I prefer not to use something that can be wiped off or eventually wears off and needs to be re-applied. I prefer permanent "do it once and forget it." If have to use anything Rust-Oleum Leak Seal is great. Plasti Dip spray works too.

I been using Leak Seal on my RX's and Plasti Dip spray on ESC's. The Plasti Dip is good but you have to go very light spray coats as if you go heavy it makes bubbles where water can creep in. So do short coats and more than one coat is best. Maybe 3-4 is plenty. LED's lights will show through even though it's color is black. As for the Leak Seal in can is great, dip and hang and it's clear love that stuff. Hard to remove where as the Plasti Dip you can peel off. The Leak Seal does come in a spray that I want to try on ESC's as it goes on even and does not crack, chip or peel, is water-tight paintable, and flexible. You can find it at Walmart where I did or Home Depot maybe Lowe's.

I used the silicon membrane that came with it, peeled right off the original heatsink

I see. Those are good, but thermal glue is better especially if you are going to "Andy Brown 1450." Amazon has thermal glue for about $7.00 mix and apply like epoxy.
