Proboat 60 programming

I installed a Leopard 3650 motor and a Proboat 60 amp ESC in my sons Traxxas Blast. Once I hooked everything up the motor will only go forward when the trigger on his controller is in the reverse position. the reverse on the esc doesn't work. I have ordered a Proboat programming module. Can anyone shed some light on what might be wrong?

Check your throttle channel reversing switch, push it to the other side . If it is on "N" ( normal) then push it to "R" (reverse) and vice versa.
