    Leopard 180 amp ESC Timing

I swapped out my 60 amp aquacraft esc for a leopard 180 amp esc. I know the default on the aquacraft is 10 degrees of timing, does this mean that I should program the other esc at 10 degrees too or should I just leave it default? What exactly does the timing do?

Different timing for "Y" and "D" motor. Usually 15* for "Y" and low (0-4) degrees for "D" motor.
The Seaking default is set at 15*, good for "Y" motor.
The stock AquaCraft motor is "D" i think.
They differ in the way how the windings in the stators are configured, and the ESC needs to know what is the most efficient way to energize the stator.
