    ESC timing ?

Hi all running a UL-1 2030 kv 6 pole with ETTI 150 amp esc in my outrigger last summer just checked the timing on esc and found it set at 2 degree advance which is for 2-4 pole motors .Would running a 6 pole motor in a 2 pole setting cause damage to motor or esc? Regards Andris Golts.

I run timing at around 10 degrees some go up to 15. Low timing on these motors may not be the best or most efficient.

      I run my UL-1 2030 kv 6 pole at 12 degrees
The stock esc that came with the UL1 was set at 12 Degrees also.
