turnigy or seaking esc ? motor options ?

i was going to go with either a turnigy 120A marine or a seaking 120A v3 esc . not sure on with one to go with . was going to run a scorpion 3026 v2 1900kv with 3s 5000mah 30c lipos in a r2 hobbies 23" ocean force deep vee . but i was also looking at the Turnigy 600 H3736 Brushless outrunner 1970kv (600 Class Heli) motor or the turnigy XK3665-B-2500KV Brushless Inrunner . any input on this would be greatly appreciated !!

I have never run a deep vee boat, but I run a Scorpion 3026-1900 in my 1:10 Scale hydroplane and really like it. I chose the Turnigy Marine 120 ESC to run with it as I had good results with that controller in my other boats. I have been really impressed with the programming box that you can get for it too. It makes changing the settings really easy and I've had no problems at all with them. I have been running the timing on the ESC for that motor at 15 degrees, but recently found that the next higher setting (18.75) may be even better with the prop combination I'm running. I run the boat on 4s, so I don't know if that will make any difference in how well the motor and ESC combination works for you. I give the combination two thumbs up.

Hi, When you advanced more of your timing, was there a difference on the temp or just the performance was better?

P.S. I just built a H&M Intruder S twin drive with the Scorpion 3026/1900kv motors on 4s ( each) . Love that set up. I know every set up is different, but the combination of Seaking 120ESC V3 and that motor is really working out well for me. Not familiar with those two other motors though...
Too many boats, not enough time...

I just tried comparing timing settings last weekend, but I noticed a small improvement in performance and a slight reduction in motor temps in my application. I think more testing is in order but I did notice a difference there.
