It might be a copy of a copy of a YGE or from Hobby King a YEP or from Hi-model, a Hi-model. They sell the 120 amp units and 180 amp units but, it's hard to be sure by one not so great picture. If they show you a programmer for it, I'll know 100% then.
Yep, looks like I'm right. Not bad esc's but, very NOT easy to program. Buyer beware... as it looks like the 120 amp unit at YGE or YEP at Hobby King. Look here and compare http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ler_Opto_.html
It's funny, I read your post this morning and my reaction was the same as Ray's, and that was before he posted, I am not as knowledgeable as he is and didn't want to say anything that might not be correct. HK sells another one that is clearly related to this family of ESC, albeit more powerful:http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...ler_Opto_.html
I too am interested to know if anyone has tried this one.
It looks similar but different and also a bit more expensive.
I'm also keen to know if ppl are using them. I found a 180amp german one call tsunami in my search as well. Hydro + Marinesell them as well as a few other german lsh's.
