Best Bang for the buck is the Turnigy 180a(Seaking 180) Hobby king sells them for around $80 when in stock. Here is the ESC but out of stock in this warehouse as well. Main warehouse doesnt even offer them now.

Steven carries the V3 here on OSE - http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...seaking-180-v3

I agree that the Hobbywing Seaking 180 is a great ESC. Hobbywing products are high quality in the offroad RC world, and I expect the same from their boat escs.

But, Just so we're all 100% sure, Isn't the Hobbywing-Seaking 180 the original, and the Hobbyking-Turnigy 180 a cheaper knockoff of it? Or am I mistaken?

Really! Same exact in every way? Wow, I never would have thought that a reputable company would allow hobbyking to buy and simply rename their products.

...................and the Turnigy is usually priced a fair amount less.

I just ran across this one, its your $$ but i wouldnt be afraid at all to run it with the 2200. I ran my 33" Pursuit with the same motor on a Turnigy 120a for quite a while, then pulled it for another boat and replaced it with a T180 for the Pursuit.

I run a Leo 4082 2200kv 6S 445 prop (worked !!) On a T-180 in a DF Cyberstorm mono. They are the best buy for the money, only thing we do to them is add a better capbank ... DJ

No typo Kevin and yeah it is very fast mid 70's. Thats the 33" hull I'm running that in. Definately a "SAW" setup and alot of interior hull work has been done IE: cf inlay, extra rail support to motormount. Everything locked down very securely !! I will have to see if I have a vid of it... DJ

Yes, video please! I have the same hull, well reinforced, and run a neu 1521/1577kv on 6s, same esc, same prop usually, and that moves pretty well and gets a bit squirrels at times, I would imagine the 2200 hauls the mail, you must have it dialed in real nice to run those speeds!
