Castle ice 240 with castle 2028 motor on 8s?

    Hi guys,
I have one of the ice 240 castle marine speed controls rated up to 8s! Does anyone have luck successfully running that controller with a castle 2028 motor on 8s! My prop will be conservative at 55-57mm!
I just finished a project and have the controller so I though I would ask first before buying another unit! Thanks in advance!

Yes, have run this combo a bunch. Be sure to run parallel packs as the combo will pull between 200-240A. I would start with a smaller prop, check the data and work your way up.

A lot will depend on what the OP will be running. A 36" cat will probably use a different prop than will a 45" mono.....
