Hey buddy, that really sucks. I was searching for ya and ran across these http://www.traxxasrchobby.com/castle...701-p-119.html

Might want to investigate the outfit but you never know. Dropping a full line has brought Castle into question on a few forums. Somebody could just want to recoup their $$$

Understandably the best thing to do would be to replace with something identical, if you can't find one though a swordfish 240 would be a great alternative. Its an awesome esc as you probably already know.

I went on the site and intrigued by the 50% off price I decided to attempt to buy one. They show credit card and Paypal logos but when you try to actually complete the order it's by Western Union transfer or direct wire transfer ..... I don't think so.

I bought one last week and another today. If you buy tonight and use "independence" for the coupon code you can get 10 percent off.

I have purchase a couple of other things from these guys and they have been good to deal with. These guys are charging full retail(legitimate). I paid for 2 day shipping for the first one(shipping is normally free at a certain dollar amount) and I ordered it on Monday and go it on Thursday. It shipped the same day of the order.

I have heard and run across these sites before. Like I said "Might want to investigate the outfit " , I went back and noticed that all their supposed stuff is 50% off. Definitely too good.

On those other sites that show 50% off. If it is too good a deal then it is most likely a rip off. Why would no one legitimate offer a deal like that? I saw those when I was looking for the esc and stayed away.

                            Hey,
I looked closer and the specs are different as well. The Marine Ice 2 handles:
                            12S (50.4V) (ICE 2)

The one on sale which is the "air" version handles only:
                            34 volts (8s) (ICE)

The Castle ICE160HV aircraft controller is the same as the HydraICE200HV, just a different control firmware. The ICE200 aircraft controller is likewise the same as the HydraICE240. The marine controllers are rated for an additional 40 amps due to the more efficient water cooling.

I watercool the ICE200s in many of my boats and they perform line the Hydras.
