    castle 240 cooling

has anyone replaced those silly cooling tubes with a different alloy/wall thickness tubing? or simply put cooling blocks on fet's? broke 3 ends on my latest 240 ( being careful mind you) just to get clearance on water lines. poor design in my opinion. other than this, a good esc. if i have to re-use tubing set-up, what do I use to adhere tubing to block? thermal adhesive? thanks

The stock tubes work fine if you know how to bend them. Insert a close fitting steel rod or drill bit shank into the tubing end about 3/8" and gently bend each end away from the closest tube. It doesn't take very much movement to gain enough clearance for the silicon tubing. Don't use brass tubing, the differential expansion ratio from the aluminum heat sink will loosen the tubes.

I use Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive epoxy to glue cooling tubes.
