Hi There

I'm thinking of starting a new project (Mono stepped hull, about 110 cm) and I came accross with above set priced at $250 in Turkey. Would this set fit to my needs and why kind of prop will give me what kind of speeds on a 6S set up?

Yes looks ok for me.Running 6S I would start with an Octura X 447 or 448 to get in the low 50's. This motor can turn bigger props but start small and do not overprop your boat untill you get temp readings of everything. Gill

Thanks a lot, that comforts me. What is the suggested rudder, strut type? Probably I need to complete with this set with 1/4" flexi.

And sorry but when you say 50s, is it KmH, MpH, knots?

I have used this motor (higher kv's) with 3/16 flexshaft with no issues in a cat but if you want to stick to 1/4 is ok.I meant 50's mph.You can use a stinger instead of strut and you can find reasonable good stuff at horracing .com ...consider to use an offset rudder maybe with 6" blade long. Hope this help.Gill
